annual meeting.
New Haven Legal Assistance
Association
is a founding member of the Valley Council for Health and Human Services.
Although Valley’s
New Haven Legal Assistance office closed more than a decade ago, the
organization continues to provide quality legal assistance to Valley residents
in need. Last year alone, New Haven Legal Assistance helped more than 180 new
Valley clients. In addition to those individual clients, New Haven Legal
Assistance is currently representing the Riverside Tenants Association –
consisting of another 100 families - in their effort to keep housing in the
Valley.
To ensure
continued service to the Valley, New Haven Legal Assistance is committed to
reopening a Valley office some time in 2008.
