Healthy Valley 2000 Educational Mini-grants Reception

1/10/00

The weather outside was windy and very wet, but the Kellogg Environmental Center was warm and accommodating as Healthy Valley 2000 presented 23 Educational Mini-Grants to teachers and administrators in all six Valley school districts. Diane Joy of the Kellogg Center welcomed a large group that included State Senator Joseph Crisco, Derby Mayor Marc Garofalo and superintendents, principals and teachers from throughout the Valley.

The Mini-Grants program is a project of Healthy Valley's Education Committee and is funded by grants from Pitney Bowes and from the State of Connecticut as arranged by Senator Crisco. Click here to see the full variety of programs funded.
