Housing Resources
Housing has become one of the most commonly cited challenges facing individuals and families living within the Valley. Many renters and homeowners are cost-burdened, spending more than a third of their income on housing while forgoing needs related to food, transportation, and healthcare. A quarter of residents report not having enough income to house their families at some point during the year. Individuals and families across every town have a shared experience of a lack of available housing, high utility bills, and costly mortgage and rent expenses that create barriers to housing access and home ownership.
We have created this page to bring together clear and current information about local housing resources. Below are links to state government information as well as links to trusted organizations throughout the Valley that provide housing services and assistance. Our goal is to offer one reliable place where residents and organizations can quickly find the support they need.
